Month End

May seems to be quickly coming to an end.  It feels like it just started, and now I'm gearing up for June already.  As I look back, I attempt to look at the blur of a month  and figure out just what I did with my time.  I suppose the basement renovation has sucked up most of my days.  Unfortunately, my garden has suffered enormously because of that.  It's still just a mud pit of weeds.  One of these days I'll get to it.  In between the day to day rush of three kids and the basic chores that go with it, we did still manage to squeeze in a few good times.

Marley likes to rearrange my front walk.  Notice the knee pads.

Mia likes to keep her eye on us outside.  (Yes, I'm aware of the geeky hat)

Someone had a big birthday.  I guess we'll be having an old person party next year.

Maisie started piano lessons this month.

We were kindly invited to watch a fireworks show.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of the actual show (which was OUTSTANDING!) but I did of course get many, many pictures of the girls enjoying their time beforehand.

This is Marley 'staying still' for a photo.

I just want to squeeze and hug that all day long.
