However, with that said I did have a little project on the side that I finished a couple of weeks ago. Mid-January I purchased an older hutch on Kijiji for $100. I needed some storage in my office and I didn't want some standard shelving.
It was an okay cabinet. Solid wood, but not really my style. Needed a little sanding. So I take off the doors etc. and get out the sander. It turns out, sanding in the winter in an open concept house is a bit messy. I'll be cleaning dust for months I'm sure. At least I'll be using this as an excuse for months. Sanding is also a dirty job on your lungs (especially when you have pnuemonia) so I wore a mask to limit how much of it I was breathing in. Marley wanted to help in the worst way, and likes the vaccuuming job. She insisted on also wearing a mask in order to not breathe anything in. This is what she came up with.
The point of no return.
Primed and ready
Job well done. (If I do say so myself.)
